Wellbeing

What is wellbeing?

Wellbeing is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as ‘the state of being comfortable, healthy or happy’.  However, it is important to realise that well-being is a much broader concept than just moment-to-moment happiness and also includes other things, such as how satisfied people are with their lives as a whole, their sense of purpose, and how in control they feel.

On this page we will hopefully be able to offer usueful resources to help with positive wellbeing and of course, if you have any concerns about your child’s wellbeing you can always get in touch with our Family Engagement Team in school.
