Scientists in the making?

KS2 kickstarted British Science Week early with a visit from one of our school governors, Stuart Ainsworth.

Mr Ainsworth is a scientist from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. The children were fascinated by his work with venomous snakes and the work that he carries out to create anti-venoms for people who have been bitten.

They had plenty of questions to ask him and wanted to add more questions to their questions board in their classrooms or year group corridors.

Thank you for visiting us, Mr Ainsworth!
