Our intent for Religious Education is to inspire, support, strengthen and challenge our children to develop a deep understanding of the many religions that make up our modern day multi-cultural society.
Our children will use their knowledge, understanding and critical thinking skills to explore the different aspects of all religions within, and beyond, our school community.
We develop the knowledge and skills that are needed to explore different religious beliefs and the challenging questions they can provoke, laying the foundations for children to understand different faiths and beliefs, with the ability to create their own ideology and philosophy.
Pupils develop the skills to question, debate, compare and critically assess the importance of faith within the modern world.
