In our guided reading sessions we enjoy sharing a book together, whether it is fiction or non fiction. Reading in a similar ability group we delve into the text, helping each other decode words and fully understand the meaning of the narrative. Rereading the focused text after discussion encourages us to become independent readers.
The children practice phonics daily at school as this is an integral part of your child’s reading journey. We would like to thank you for your support with listening and helping your child to read at home.
