Year 6 Trip to Quarry Bank Mill
29 November 2018
This term Year 6 are learning about the Victorians and as part of this topic they have the exciting opportunity to visit Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire on Thursday 29th November. Children will need to be in school at 8:40am as we will be leaving school prompt at 8:50am. We will return for 3:30pm and if there any delays on the day we will inform parents and carers via text. The trip is a great opportunity for our pupils to fully experience what life was like in Victorian times. They will be able to see how life was for children their age, what it was like working in a factory, and how the mill operated through steam and water power. Your child will need a disposable packed lunch, a drink (no fizzy drinks please) and a warm coat. Full school uniform to be worn as normal.
