At Layton Primary school we recognise that parents are the first teachers of their children, but also understand how difficult being a parent can be. Parents have the most significant influence in enabling their children to grow and mature and to form healthy relationships, we therefore consider the role of parents in the development of their children vital, hence our extensive support for families.

The Family Engagement Team provide support, advice, and information to the families within our school community and we very much hope that the support we offer children and families will help your children learn, thrive, and make progress in school as we grow great minds together.

We can help you with any worries that you may have in relation to your child's education, behaviour, and wellbeing; or we are here as someone to talk to if you need it. We may not have all the answers, but hopefully we can help you to work out how to find them!

Look out for team members on the gate each morning and afternoon, we are also contactable via the school office or through a conversation with your child’s class teacher.
